Preventive Cardiology 2024
The 17th Scientific Conference of the Prevention and Epidemiology Section of the Polish Society of Cardiology 'Preventive Cardiology 2024 - guidelines, doubts, hot topics' is the largest conference in Poland dedicated to the prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
The 'Preventive Cardiology' conference series has for years been extremely popular with all circles interested in the broader issues of cardiovascular diseases. As in previous years, the Conference will be attended by the best lecturers and the most eminent experts. The event will be attended by a large number of clinicians, scientists, representatives of many disciplines
- doctors, both cardiologists and internists, endocrinologists, diabetologists, family doctors, dieticians, physiotherapists, epidemiologists, managers and professionals
from the fields of medicine and health sciences.
Leading themes will be:
- prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases (hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, smoking, ischaemic heart disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation),
- prevention and treatment of obesity
- treatment of patients with cardiovascular disease and co-morbidities,
- Cardiovascular risk factors and their role in shaping the health profile of the population,
- lifestyle medicine,
- innovation and new technologies in preventive cardiology
- expert group positions and guidelines,
- epidemiology of cardiovascular disease,
- the results of the latest Polish and international research on risk factors and population health.
This year's 'Preventive Cardiology - 2024' will take place on 15-16 November. Lecturers
and participants will traditionally meet in Krakow, a city with a unique scientific tradition.
An accompanying event will be the Morning Run in the Krakow Planty, an educational initiative aimed at promoting daily recreational physical activity.
